Top 10 board books for newborns and babies

The Ultimate List of Books Every Newborn and Baby Should Have In Their Collection

Did you know that you can start reading to you baby from day dot? Yes, the earlier you start reading to your baby the better.

The American Academy of Paediatrics states that reading aloud to your baby from when they are born can strengthen the bond between the baby and the parent. It improves their vocabulary, understanding and concentration.

And let’s face it, snuggling up with your baby and reading them a book is a beautiful thing. They are tucked into your arms, feeling your warmth and heartbeat and listening to your voice – something they are familiar with from when they were in the womb.

To them it’s pure bliss.

Board books are the best type of books as they are study and easy for babies to grip and eventually turn pages. They can often withstand a fair bit of slobber too 😉

Below is my list of recommended board books that I think are a perfect way to start off your baby’s library and reading experience. No nursery bookshelf is complete without a copy of these fantastic books.
